Sinopec To Upgrade Fujian Refining Complex

China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (Sinopec) has completed test run on its Fujian refining complex, Xinhua Economic News reported. In due course of time, the 12 million tons/year complex will be upgraded to have refining capacity of 24 million tons/year but the timetable is not available.
The complex will feed on high-sulfur crude oil imported from Saudi Arabia and is expected to export the market with 7.46 million tons of oil products and 1.28 million tons of polyolefin products yearly.
The complex is invested in by Sinopec, Saudi Armaco and Exxon Mobil Corporation on a basis of 50:25:25.
