PetroChina Brings Storage Tanks In Henan Province Into Supply Stream

PetroChina Company Limited (PetroChina) has brought its oil products storage tanks in Zhengzhou and Sanmenxia, situated in central Henan province, into the supply stream, Xinhua Economic News reported. The two tanks have storage capacities of 210,000 cubic meters and 22,000 cubic meters. They are designed to receive oil products from the PetroChina-run 2,134.4-kilometer Lanzhou-Zhengzhou-Changsha oil products pipeline.
By August 5, 2009, the storage tank in Zhengzhou had received 20,000 tons of product oil while the Sanmenxia tank received 6,000 tons.
With a total investment of CNY8.15 billion, the Lanzhou-Zhengzhou-Changsha pipeline traverses five provinces: Gansu province, Shaanxi province, Henan province, and Hunan and Hubei provinces.
