Ensco International Names Sean O’Neill As New VP, Investor Relations

Ensco International Incorporated (Ensco International), an offshore contract drilling company, has appointed Sean O’Neill as its new vice president (VP), investor relations. O’Neill will be accountable for investor relations, public relations, corporate communications and branding. He will replace Richard A. LeBlanc, who is retiring. O’Neill served in the same roles at two fortune 500 companies and was managing director of strategic investor relations consulting at Thomson Reuters.

O’Neill has earned masters of business administration degree with honors from DePaul University, Kellstadt Graduate School of Business and has received Bachelor of Science in finance from Fairfield University. He is a member of DePaul University’s finance advisory board and the Roundtable for strategic communications and reputation management.

Daniel W. Rabun, Ensco International’s chairman, president and chief executive officer, commented, “We are pleased that Sean is joining the Ensco team. We expect his breadth of experience will prove to be invaluable as we continue to work to enhance shareholder value by providing timely and transparent communications about Ensco.
