DOF Subsea Wins About EUR13 Million Contract For BP’s Angola Deepwater Programme

DOF Subsea Angola SA (DOF Subsea) has won a contract worth around EUR13 million from BP Plc (BP) for the provision of well positioning, acoustic rig moves and verification services for Block 31 in BP’s Angola Deepwater Programme. The scope of the contract involves the design, manufacture, installation and positioning of about 40 Transponder Frames.

The Transponder frames subsequently will be utilized by DOF Subsea for Acoustic Rigmoves and by the Block 31 Subsea Installation Contractors to support their installation activities.

The project is expected to start in August 2009 and will initially last for 5 years.
