CB&I Wins Over $70 Million Contract To Modernize Pancevo Oil Refinery In Serbia

Chicago Bridge & Iron Company N.V. (CB&I) has received a contract valued at more than $70 million from NAFTNA INDUSTRIJA SRBIJE (NIS Petroleum Industry of Serbia) to upgrade its Pancevo oil refinery in Serbia. The scope of work includes detailed engineering, procurement services, construction management and commissioning for the hydrocracker/hydrotreater unit (licensed by Chevron Lummus Global) and the associated support units, auxiliary and offsites systems.

CB&I is currently constructing a similar hydrocracker/hydrotreater unit in Croatia, and recently completed a diesel desulfurization plant for a refinery expansion project in Poland.

CB&I is a provider of conceptual design, technology, engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, commissioning and associated maintenance services to energy and natural resource industries.
