AWEL Awards 3D Seismic Survey Contract To Western Geco

Adani Welspun Exploration Limited (AWEL), a joint venture between Adani Enterprises Limited and Welspun group, has awarded a contract for 3D seismic survey at its Mumbai offshore block, MB-OSN-2005/. Western Geco, a Schlumberger Group company, will carry out the survey within one year of signing production sharing contract (PSC) for the entire 1191 square kilometers block. The survey is expected to commence by December 2009.

AWEL has already completed first round of 2D and 3D seismic data acquisition, processing and interpretation (API) In its southern Cambay basin onshore block (CB-ONN-2004/5) and is planning for exploratory drilling by early 2010. In its onland Assam block (AA-ONN-2004/4), 2D seismic, API has been completed and 3D seismic survey covering the entire block will start soon. Two large onshore blocks in Thailand (L-39/48 and L-22/50) are also being currently covered by 2D seismic survey.

Yokogawa Receives Control Systems Contract For Coal-Fired Power Plant In Vietnam

Yokogawa Electric Corporation announces that its subsidiary Yokogawa Engineering Asia Pte.
